Tropical Kale Home-Made Ice Pops

tropical_kale_ice_pop.jpg

Why not use a refreshing summer treat as another opportunity to eat your greens? This recipe is delicious. The pineapple, mango, and orange are strong enough flavours to mask the kale, so it’s perfect for picky kids (and adults too).

Do take the time to really blend the ingredients well so that you don’t find chunks of kale in your ice pop.

An added bonus - there’s no added sugar (or artificial sugar).

Enjoy!

Tropical Kale Ice Pops Ingredients

  • 2 cups kale leaves

  • 1/2 cup pineapple (frozen or fresh)

  • 1/2 cup mango (frozen or fresh)

  • 3/4 cup orange juice (not from concentrate), or water

Tropical Kale Ice Pops Directions

  1. Combine ingredients in a blender.

  2. Pour mixture into popsicle molds. Set in freezer for 4 hours.
